It’s that fabulous time of year again! This is one of my favorite Fibershed events. It’s a FREE outdoor market with local producers. You can find a variety of locally grown dye plants, seeds, dyeable fiber, yarn, and more. I bought some wonderful plants last year, including coreopsis and sulfur cosmos. There are natural dye demos and garden tours. I’ll be in the dye pavilion mordanting and creating colors using plants I’ve gathered from the surrounding landscape. I’ll have a limited number of signed copies of my book, “The Natural Dye Handbook.” I love answering questions and sharing my knowledge. I’ve included all the details below. I hope to see you there!
Fibershed’s Spring Market focus is on natural dyes. Join us at the Fibershed Learning Center, stroll through the natural dye garden, and purchase your own dye plants from Fibershed’s plant producers. Learn how to use natural dyes during free natural dye demos and shop for dyeable fiber and yarns from local Fibershed producers.
