This class is an exploration of using worn-out textiles to create new practical objects.
If you’re like me you have a large (maybe small) collection of worn-out textiles that are beyond just mending or maybe they just need to be transformed into something new.
In this class we will be utilizing boro & traditional folk scrap quilting techniques to create squares or rectangles of soft layered cloth. This patchwork of fabric can become a pouch, pillow, quilt, table rummer, mat, or wall hanging. The possibilities are endless.
