Honey Folk Spiderweb Pouch Zine - PDF

$6.50

This pattern is fully illustrated and gives step-by-step instructions on how to make the Honey Folk Spiderweb Pouch. I especially focused on how to create the Spiderweb stitch. The foundation is a traditional darning technique called the Tambourine Stitch. There are detailed drawings on how to create this stitch. It’s the most meditative form of stitching. I’ve spent endless hours completely lost in dancing threads.

The Honey Folk Spiderweb pouch is the second in a series of patterns I designed during ‘shelter in place’ do to COVID19.

Handwork has always been my go-to when I need to feel calm and grounded. When we evacuated from our tiny forest in Sonoma County to San Fransisco during the 2019 fires I spent my days sitting on my friend’s couch mending their clothes and drinking tea. It made my heart happy in a really scary time.

I hope you enjoy this pattern.
