Morning Light Botanically Dyed Fabric Bundles

$38.00

This Botanical Fabric Bundle is bright and moody. It reflects the colors of my forest in August as the morning light creeps in and chases away the fog. Dappled light dances across the wildflowers and blackberries as I walk along the road looking for acorns and Redwood cones.

There’s enough fabric for several small projects. I have FREE pouch patterns and patchwork pattern zines available in my shop. All hand sewn and perfect for all levels of experience.

Naturally dyed by hand in Sonoma County, California. Uneven coloring & gentle fading is just one of the magickal characteristics of botanical dyes.

This botanical bundle includes

  • 29 pieces ranging from 5 1/2” x 6” to 1 1/2“x 2” (14 cm x 15.25 cm to 3.75 cm x 5 cm)

  • Fabrics: Linen, linen & cotton blend, Kona cotton, silk, eucalyptus and silk, silk velvet, and 1 piece of kimono fabric.

  • Botanical dyes used: Nettle, California Coffeeberry Leaves, St. John’s Wort, Indigo, Madder, Oak Galls, Logwood, Marigold, Sorrel, Fennel.

  • Color variations and some uneven dyeing may occur.

  • All fabric has been washed and dried twice. Excluding the kimono fabric. Do not wash or get the Kimono fabric wet; the colors may bleed.

  • It's best to store naturally dyed fabric from constant direct sunlight as fading may occur.

  • When needed, hand or machine wash gently in cold water. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight. Use a PH-neutral soap. Excess dye residue may occur. Do not use the vintage kimono fabric on any projects that will need washing.
