Shadow Valley Cowl Pattern

$10.00

Living in Northern California means living in layers of clothing that are versatile. The Shadow Valley Cowl can be worn as a shrug or a cowl depending on your mood and the weather. There is a long and short version. It can be made out of cotton or wool depending on the season. This pattern was originally designed for Sally Fox’s beautiful colorganic® cotton boucle. To purchase complete Shadow Valley Kits, including the pattern, are available in her SHOP I’ve also made this cowl out of wool and it’s wonderful cozy.

Special note on Sally’s cotton. It’s very bouncy and springy. It behaves more like wool than cotton. Please keep this in mind if you choose to use different cotton yarn.
